Protecting Clermont's Future!

Clermont's reputation for its low property tax rate has long been admired by neighboring communities. However, recent developments have seen a significant 30% increase in property taxes and essential city services such as water, sewer, and garbage. With my  proven track record of overseeing budget cuts exceeding 80 Million dollars at the Lake County School Board, I believe I possess the expertise needed to restore balance and fiscal responsibility to Clermont's budget. Let's work together to bring Clermont back under control and ensure a prosperous future for all residents.

The waterways around Clermont are not only beautiful but also essential to our community's well-being. I am committed to safeguarding this Outstanding Florida Waterway, ensuring that our future generations can continue to enjoy and benefit from its natural splendor. By protecting these waterways, together we are preserving a vital resource for recreational activities, wildlife habitats, and overall environmental health. Our  mission is to keep our waterways accessible and thriving for all to enjoy.

As a local business owner for over 25 years, this has given me valuable insights into the challenges that small businesses encounter on a daily basis. With a deep understanding of these struggles, I am committed to advocating for reforms that will streamline processes and eliminate unnecessary obstacles created by the government. By championing these changes, I am dedicated to creating a more supportive and conducive environment for small businesses to thrive and succeed.

As Clermont is the 2nd largest city in the Greater Orlando area, this presents a unique opportunity to build a thriving community.  This is the only shot we get and we need to get it right! The City of Clermont has dropped the ball on impact fee collection and meeting the infrastructure requirements.
